Archery Fishing Hunting ALL Year Long

Samedi, novembre 24th, 2007

By James Zeller Archery fishing or archery hunting is one of the last sports that is not regulated by the government. You don’t have to register to buy a bow or get “IDed” to buy a dozen arrows. The arrow heads for reloads are not even scrutinized. That is the way it should be. Archery shooting is a sport enjoyed all year long, indoors and out. A host of archery fishing clubs, archery hunting clubs and events populate America for this growing sport. Actual sized targets for game in outdoor archery ranges make for an exciting practice session. Shooting a bow uphill or downhill increases the level of difficulty for the shot but hones your skills in the archery fishing hunting event. The recent migration of Asian Carp up the Mississippi River has created an archery fishing hunting event that is hunter, prey interactive. Because this fish is invasive there are no regulations on taking the fish. As the boat cruises through the water, the prop turbulence causes the carp to rush out of the water and airborne. This is the interactive part, if you are looking or not 8-10 pound fish come flying out of the water to crash into the boat, into you or splash harmlessly back into the water. The fish can injure you. You have a chance to use your bow to practice aerial shots at the carp. Archery fishing hunting for alligator gar fish, carp, and alligators are a few of the species that are targeted with water taken species. Birds, and big game species are usually related to regular archery hunting. Water adds a new dimension that allows seasons and game to overlap into a year round sport. Seek a local archery club for events that are scheduled in your area. If you like golf, there is even an archery golf wherein the golf ball is replaced by arrows. Loads of fun! Charters and guides are catering to this sport that includes bows, arrows, water, land, fish birds and animals as well as targets. James Zeller writes for numerous outdoor blogs and websites. The Lemon Laws

Vendredi, novembre 23rd, 2007

By Greg Artim Lemon cars, trucks, vans and SUVs are everywhere. Various statistics that I have seen indicate that anywhere from 1 out of 100 to 1 out of 8 vehicles are lemons. Staggering statistics, to say the least. A Lemon, by definition, is a defective vehicle. All states have Lemon Laws that provide protection to you in the event that you have purchased a lemon. These law vary from state to state, but all have common themes. The first common theme is the defective condition of the vehicle. In other words, something has to go wrong with your vehicle. The state Lemon Laws typically define what elements satisfy the defective condition requirement in order to be classified as a lemon. In Pennsylvania, for instance, the vehicle must exhibit a defect or non-conformity that substantially impairs the use, value or safety of the vehicle. In my experience, these types of defects usually consist of defective brakes, transmissions, engines, suspensions, steering and things of that nature. Claims for electrical failures, noise and leaks usually are sufficient as well. The next common theme among the state Lemon Laws is the obligation to attempt repairs. Each state Lemon Law sets forth that the manufacturer must be given a reasonable number of attempts to repair the vehicles defective condition. In Pennsylvania, that number is three. Some other states have the repair requirements set at four or more. If the Manufacturer or its agent (the dealer) cannot repair the vehicle after a reasonable number of attempts, you have a lemon. The third common theme amongst state Lemon Laws is the remedy that you are entitled to if you have a lemon. Most states provide that the consumer is entitled to a full refund of the purchase price OR a free replacement vehicle. Some states go even further. In Pennsylvania the remedy includes all collateral charges as well as the purchase price, including taxes, title charges, down payment, interest and more. If you choose the refund election you may end up getting every dollar back that you put into the vehicle. In addition, most states provide for the recovery of attorney fees and costs as well. Prepaid Cell Phone Plans

Jeudi, novembre 22nd, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Marcus_Peterson]Marcus Peterson For those who prefer prepaid cell phones plans over monthly plans, there are countless cell phone service carriers who offer a variety of prepaid plans depending on your supposed usage and budget constraints. Prepaid cell phones have amassed part of their popularity because of their attractively priced packages that fit consumers needs. The telecommunications industry, specifically the cellular phone business, is one of the premier market trades that has devoted tremendous efforts in research to cater to different target markets. Adding to their appeal are the freebies that accompany prepaid cell phone plans. These may include rebates, free starter phone cards which offer minimal air time, phone accessories or even a free cell phone. Prepaid cell phone plan holders are not committed to pay the monthly service charge but instead pre-pay for only the air time or the text messages that they intend to use for a specific period of time. Prepaid cell phone plans then work best for those who only use their phones for emergency purposes or just for occasional use. Prepaid cell phone plans often cost less than $100.00. Prepaid cell phone plan cards denominations are available for as low as $10.00, but the price may increase based on the number of minutes or how many text messages (depending on the provider) the consumer uses. One of the downsides, however, is that call charges are actually more expensive than conventional monthly plans. Also remember that credits left on your prepaid card, if unused, can expire within a specified time period which may be as short as 30 days or as long as a year, depending on the price you pay for it and the service the credits provide. Hence, it is always best to first buy the prepaid plan card with the minimal amount of credits to gauge cell phone service consumption. Failure to properly calculate how you use your prepaid plan can leave you paying the equivalent monthly fee without all the services offered by postpaid deals. Using a prepaid cell phone is as hassle-free as buying a prepaid card from a convenience store. All you need is an open-line cell phone which you can use with any carrier, a minimal prepaid activation fee for about $20.00, and a starter card and youre set to use your prepaid cell phone. Revive the Art of Letter Writing!

Jeudi, novembre 15th, 2007

By Cindy DeJager Theres nothing like sitting down in your favorite armchair with a handwritten letter from a friend or loved one. I found a box of letters in the attic of an old house that I was renting. Examining the post marks on the envelopes I discovered that these letters were written forty-five years ago. I felt like an archeologist who found a missing treasure. When I touched those old letters and envelopes I was taken back to a time before emails and computers; to a time when penmanship was taken seriously and was something to be proud of. I remember what it was like to write letters the old fashioned way; writing on special stationary with your favorite pen; buying beautiful seasonal or collectors stamps from the post office, and sending it off by dropping it in the mailbox. The anticipation of receiving a letter in the mail was wonderful, and when it finally arrived and you plucked that envelope from your mailbox you got double the pleasure both the envelope and the letter inside. Did you ever save your precious letters? Did you ever sit down in your favorite chair or on your bed and read a letter that meant the world to you? Just the fact that you could do that; take out that special letter and read it again and again is something that no computer-generated letter can replace. The persons handwriting transcends time and space; email cant do that. We cant impart our individuality in our emails like a pen and paper can do with our own handwriting. Like an old book that is handled with love and care, an old letter can last for many years into the future. Who will be reading your emails 50 years from now? A handwritten letter can be read over and over again for many years, just like these letters that I found. They were 45 years old! And even after all those years I could still sit in a comfy chair with a cup of coffee, and by reading them, go back in time to when the author was putting pen to paper.
Old letters contain history. In Canada in the 1950s and 60s Canada Post used to postmark the envelope with the date and time, something that is not done anymore. This simple little gesture allowed you a glimpse of history in both the envelope and the letter. In one of my old letters the writer describes shopping at the Eatons in Calgary in 1960; and in another letter she tells about the unemployment troubles and lack of jobs. This insight into the past and into the writers feelings; their hopes, fears, loves, and dreams is there in her own handwriting. Begin Writing Letters. Wouldnt it be nice to leave a legacy behind for those you love? What if you could write a letter to your grandchild or your children and know that letter would survive your own lifetime? Your words could be read over and over again and cherished. Your loved ones will always have something intimately personal your handwriting and words on a page. 5% Down Vs. 10% Down - A Comparison

Lundi, novembre 12th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=John_Carle]John Carle It has always been an issue for home buyers to save their down payment. Many people, on advice from various people wait to save 10%, rather than moving into the home sooner with 5% as a down payment This is not always a good idea. Let me explain; We have 2 young couples, the Jones’ and the Smiths. They both have the same amount of money to spend on housing and saving ($1000/month). From that $1000, they are paying their rent of $750/month, and saving the other $250 for their down payment. In fact they’re identical people. The Jones’ and the Smiths are both looking to buy a $100,000 property. As such, they will need $5000 as a down payment if they purchase at 5% down, or $10,000 if they wish to have 10% as a down payment. To date, they have both saved $5000 with which to purchase a property. The Jones’ have decided to buy now and accept that they only have 5% as a down payment The Smiths’ have decided to wait until they can raise 10%; thus saving themselves some CMHC costs. What the Smiths’ aren’t realizing is that while they wait, the cost of the property is increasing… thus incrasing the amount of money they need as a downpayment. They’ve also not taken into account that the money they are paying in rent is being thrown away, while they could have been putting that against their mortgage. Sure, saving the CMHC fees is a good idea. But is it necessarily the right way to go? Not always. If it takes the Smiths an extra 2 years to save up the extra money, the property could have increased by as much as $15,000 in that time…. meaning that they’d need more of a down payment, as well as having a larger mortgage than if they’d bought earlier. If you’d like to read this article in full, including graphs showing the difference between the Smith’s and the Jones’ then go to our website at [http://www.workingtogether.ca ]www.workingtogether.ca and review the article titled “5% Down Vs. 10% Down - A Comparison”. Bible Translation or Watered Down Truth?

Dimanche, novembre 11th, 2007

By Ryan Lance Jeffery THE ARROGANCE OF SATAN: The Biblical passages of Isaiah 14:12-14 delve into the very thoughts which led to the downfall of Lucifer in Heaven. “How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, IN THE SIDES OF THE NORTH: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” These scriptures are worthy of the most careful study. In fact, these verses prophetically reveal a present-day deception that is flooding our very churches! Would you believe many sincere bible believing christians are being subconsciously programmed by the very voice of satan? In this issue we will unveil the arrogance of Satan & the current prophetic fulfillment of the statement in Isaiah 14:13 which reads: “I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the SIDES OF THE NORTH:” SATAN EXALTS HIMSELF & CREATES A FALSE SYSTEM: Isaiah 14:12-14 gives the sad account of the self-exalted thoughts that led to lucifers expulsion from heaven. Here are some highlights: 1)”For thou has said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:” According to Revelation 1:20 (”These seven stars are the angels”) stars are representative of angels. SATAN WANTED TO SET UP HIS THRONE ABOVE THE ANGELS. 2) “I will sit also upon the MOUNT OF THE CONGREGATION,” In the original Hebrew language, “mount of the congregation” translates, an appointed sign or sacred season. The Sabbath is Gods appointed sign & season where he comes to tabernacle with us. During the creation week, the Sabbath was set aside as a memorial of Christ creative power demonstrated the previous six days. Thus, God made the seventh-day Holy forever. “And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it:” (Gen.2:2,3) Sanctified means Holy. Those who observe the seventh-day Sabbath proclaim, “It is God’s creative power through Christ that makes my heart holy” (or sanctified)! Therefore, we must cease from our own works and the cares of this life. As the apostle states, “I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”-Galatians 2:20
THE NEW TESTAMENT SABBATH For those who are curious about the particular day of the Sabbath, you must read a certain new testament scripture which was recorded after Christ was nailed to the cross. We all know that Christ was crucified on what we call,” Good Friday”. Well after he gave up the ghost on Friday, he laid in the grave the following day. That Saturday Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses viewed where he laid. For the Bible reads in Mark 15:47-16:1-2, “And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid. AND WHEN THE SABBATH WAS PAST, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.(Pause-The Bible is calling the day after friday the Sabbath). And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun. The Sabbath is a symbol of an entire lifestyle of dependence upon God. “Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them.” Ezekiel 20:12. In contrast, satan wanted to divert power from God by establishing a false sabbath! The word, “sit”, in Isaiah 14:13 is from the Hebrew word yaw-shaw which means to establish. Therefore, the last portion of Isaiah 14:13 can be read, “I will establish a sabbath in the sides of the North”. Why the sides of the North? SATANS NEW HIDING PLACE: WHO WOULD HAVE EVER KNOWN? The earthly sanctuary built by Moses was a pattern of the temple in heaven where God dwells. When God instructed Moses to, “make me a sanctuary: that I may dwell among them” (Exodus 25:8), he clarified, “And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount (Exodus 25:40). It was upon the mount where God flashed images of his sanctuary through the mind of Moses. Thus, everything in the earthly sanctuary was specifically after the order of the heavenly temple. The SIDES OF THE NORTH is the location for the TABLE OF SHEWBREAD in the earthly sanctuary. The bible declares: “And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle NORTHWARD, without the vail. And he set the BREAD in order upon it before the Lord; as the Lord has commanded Moses. Thus we conclude tht the Shewbread in heaven is located on the NORTH side of God’s temple. What does the shewbread symbolize? This answer requires us to examine direct quotes from Christ himself: “I am that BREAD OF LIFE. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I AM THE LIVING BREAD which came down from heaven: if any man eat of THIS BREAD, he shall live for ever: and THE BREAD that I will give is MY FLESH”, PAUSE- What is his flesh? “In the beginning was THE WORD, and THE WORD was with God, and THE WORD was God.” (John 1:1) Consequently, Christ offered the spiritual advice, “THE BREAD that I will give IS MY FLESH” (John 6:51). The jews replied, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat? In reality, Christ was telling them they could only have eternal life by eating the WORD OF GOD. Satan is well aware of the power in God’s authentic Word coupled with the Holy Spirit. SATANS HIDING PLACE EXPOSED:
It is satan’s studied aim to set up a kingdom in THE SIDES OF THE NORTH. This is where the WORD OF GOD is. This is why satan has flooded the market with watered down bibles, Amen! Perhaps, some may think it trivial to discredit the various new translations of the Bible. Do these various translations establish a false sabbath in the bible? Have you ever studied the sabbath doctrine in some of the modern translations? Allow me to be frank for the sake of truth. Next edition, we will hit the axe at the root and unveil how and why these fake translations gained popularity. Until then, God bless. Sincerely, Lance Ryan

Add Trust To Your Relationship

Samedi, novembre 10th, 2007

By S. A. Baker Trust is something that is important to every single relationship you have. No matter if it is a relationship of friends, family, or even a relationship of lovers; trust must be there to make it successful. So, if you are noticing a lack of trust within your relationship, how can you get trust back into your relationship? How can trust be incorporated into your life, daily? How can you trust if youve been hurt in relationships before? It is hard to add trust into a relationship that is already damaged. But, it is necessary in the most immediate way. Relationships are built on qualities like trust. If the trust in your relationship is week, chances are good that the relationship will suffer in the long run. If you are constantly questioning or worry about your relationship, then you have no trust in your partner. If you trust in them, then you know that they have your best interests at their heart just as you do for them. You can learn more about this aspect by visiting http://www.getdatingtips.com. To add trust to your relationship, you must first put aside your problems. You must push aside all the times that trust ended up hurting you. Instead, put your trust into your relationship anyway. Even if you are worried that trusting someone will end up hurting you, you still have to give the opportunity to them to prove you wrong. If you are in a relationship where you have given trust and not received trust, then you are in a failing relationship. Unless you commit to trusting each other 100%, you will not succeed in your relationship. And, in the end, if that trust is getting abused and taken advantage of, then, you shouldnt be in that relationship. If you give, so much your partner give in a relationship. Tips On Caring For Your Cut Flowers

Samedi, novembre 3rd, 2007

By Gerry T. Belvedere Imagine it’s a special occasion and you’ve just received a glorious bunch of roses. You put them in your best vase and you stand back to admire them. You’d love to make them last as long as you possibly can, but other than keeping them out of direct sunlight, you’re not sure what to do. Here are some tips on how to extend the shelf life of your roses: 1. Remove the roses from the vase and put them in a temporary container. 2. Clean the vase by washing it thoroughly in water with household bleach. 3. Fill the vase with fresh water and add a half teaspoon of household bleach for each litre (16 fluid ounces) of water. 4. Remove your roses from their temporary container and lay them flat on a counter top. 5. Remove any leaves which will show below the waterline in the vase. 6. Cut about 20 mm (3/4 inch) from the base of each stem immediately before placing it in the vase. This removes any air bubbles. 7. Don’t place roses in drafts or direct sunlight, or near fruit, heaters, TVs or refrigerators. 8. Change the water daily to extend the vase life of your roses. Freshly picked roses can last up to two weeks with a little extra care. Enjoy! Gerry Belvedere is a former artist who now runs her own online florist service at http://www.rosaflora-flowers.com.
